Ther are some differing circumstances in our minds.
#1 It was not on our soil
#2 We do not believe they targetted Australians, rather Westerners 
(christains).
#3 We have been in conflict with indon on and off over the years and other 
Australians have been killed up there.
We also are aware that there are 240Mil of them and 21 Mil of us, with them 
on our doorstep.
