Kde compile... "heads up..."

One other thing also...

If you are getting "GZGETS" errors... try renaming /usr/XR11R6/lib/libz.a to
libz.a.old. Then run "make clean" in the failed directory and try compiling
it again from the start with configure...

What seems to be happening is... on some machines (depending on distro and user
modifications)... XF86 may have been compiled with it's own version of zlib...
which will potentially clash with other versions of zlib if they exist. One sure
way to know if other versions exist... kde compile sessions will fail with
"gzgets" errors... :')

One other thing that may not be obvious to newbie kde compilers.... me
included... you should NOT have an existing kde installed where your are
sending the new kde binaries. That is to say... if I'm compiling kde 3.0.4 and
putting it in /opt/kde3... then there shouldn't all ready be a kde3 installed
there. Why? Because the libraries and includes in the existing kde installation
may be picked when compiling the new kde source code... and head aches will
abound...
