rpm on redhat 8 is hoarked

yeah, I noticed that too. I believe it's due to RH's choice of fonts and
nothing else. Also, FWIW, RH has a new head of graphic arts and he
played a key roll in the choice of all the eye candy in the desktop of R
8.0.
