Red Hat 8.0 installation failure

This sounds like the problem to me.  I think you have a few immeditae
options.  First, pay for RH8, and then you can get tech support from
Redhat.  Barring that, remove gthe Promise card, and you should be able to
perform the install.  You could also search on Redhat's Bugzilla archives,
to see if this is aknown problem, and search groups.google.com.
