mbr and boot question

Did it ALWAYS with my COL 2.3 server distro. Never did use the WS 
version stuff.

It could have been maybe there was no boot command by default, and I 
did not now enuff to check at the time.
That was about the time the Lilo/Grub stuff was going with COL and I 
gave up and switch to SuSe ...

BUT also consider that this IS a dual bus machine. I have primary SCSI 
(4 x 16GB IBM - which still is not
enough) and then added a 60GB ata removable IDE to it for near line 
storage.
