All this sounds like a tempest in a teapot to me:
1. I have no problem going to google for searches. The sample
misspelled search item above Hykosis instead of Hyskos is fielded by
google just fine.
2. One of the "preferred browsers" that automagically invokes a
search automagically sucks badly. If I key in some garbage, I want to
know about it quickly rather than after passing it off to any number
of search engines!
3. Unlike some, I have no prejudice against Netscape. I just don't
really like full blown Mozilla or Netscape, since I'm only looking for
a Browser; that's why I like Skipstone or one of the other Gecko
derivatives.
