netscape 7

Allright gang, here's what I get.

a) I ran the off-line installer so that I could re-install at my
leisure if I had a problem (which I did with the on-line installer, but
same as below).
b) I also have netscape 6.2 which I set aside (renamed the
directories) so I would have no conflict. I have also renamed my old
~/.mozilla to prevent conflict. Everything with the name netscape has
been renamed temporarily.
c) Rather than fight the location, I let it go into
/usr/local/netscape. The netscape GUI says installation complete, but
konsole says
Warning: MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME not set.
d) Running the netscape script gives me

MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=/usr/local/netscape
#my comment: so obviously MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME is set
  LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/netscape:/usr/local/netscape/Cool
          LIBPATH=/usr/local/netscape:/usr/local/netscape/Cool
       SHLIB_PATH=/usr/local/netscape:/usr/local/netscape/Cool
      XPCS_HOME=/usr/local/netscape/Cool
      MOZ_PROGRAM=./netscape-bin
      MOZ_TOOLKIT=
        moz_debug=0
     moz_debugger=

But no start. If I start netscape 6.2, I get the same starting
messages and more, but then the app starts.

e) If I bag the script and run the executable netscape-bin, I get

./netscape-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libgkgfx.so:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

libgkfx.so is clearly in place with the correct permissions so netscape
must be looking somewhere else.
