As you have pointed out, the issue is not so much edi, but the number
of programmers that are needed to produce a working product... For what
it's worth, the reason I have been looking at existing products has been
to determine the structure of the framework of the various solutions so
I could determine what (If any...) common denominations exist between
them (Other than the edi standard itself). In my opinion, the language
that is choosen to write an edi solution is not as important as the
ability to use the edi solution that you create with just about any
existing accounting/office automation solution. Needless to say, this is
a tall order that would require a lot of individual product knowledge
and many programmers...
