About to blow away X, what do I need to backup?

Blast it all, the latest Caldera provided glibc *still* gives me the atexit
error when configuring kdemultimedia. I'm gonna assume it'll give me that
error with X, too. Dammit.
Looks like either I back-rev to the original glibc that came with eW3.1, or I
compile my own. Neither is what I want to do.
