SuSE 8.0 Installation problems

Yes, linux-sxs.org is run on SuSE, although i know not which version.  As
for the hardware being upscale, its a dual PIII-1Ghz with 2GB RAM, and
dual hotswappable U160 10k-rpm 36GB SCSI drives.  I've also provided doug
with a SCSI RAID controller, and JBOD for future storage needs.   It was
definitely 'upscale' a year ago, now its a decent workhorse.
