SuSE 8.0 Installation problems

Susan,
Some folks, have had nightmares with SuSE 8.0, but I not a software
geek, have had NO problems with it upgrading or fresh install. Of
course, I bought it straight from SuSE and did not download it.
I run a plethora of "homebrew" machines, including using the
nVidia cards and they all went smoothly. I had trouble with 7.3
in the opposite, it did what you are describing.
So, I dunno if it is the software. Search the SuSE archives here to
see if any of the problems you have are found there:
