Same answer here....   my wife was a die-hard windows user but shifted to SuSE 
8.0 with no problems at all.  Of course, the lure of being able to play 
Mahjong didn't hurt.  (no, I didn't tell her there is a windoze version 
available)

StarOffice 6.0  sealed the deal and I don't think she'll ever go back.
