Tell me how the commands rpm, dpkg, apt-get, and emerge (and I'm sure
there are others) are bound by a GUI.  That's what I call default
package management tool, not some pretty little piece of (often broken)
eye candy that the vendor chose to code to make the newbies happy.

Like QT, and some distributions package konqueror separately, and then
you have extra programs like koncd.

I really somehow doubt that would happen with Gentoo, and Debian
probably isn't going to change for the next 10-15 years or so.
