Well I do not as yet have dvd::rip online as I am unable to get the perl bits
that it depends on compiled in. However as I read it ist rips dvds and then
you use transcode or mjpegtools to turn this into either avi, mpeg1 or mpeg2
files and either play them from hd or use cdrao to burn to disk as svcd, vcd
or divx.
