As it'd been 20 years since I read LOTR, it was surprising how much I 
remembered :-). It was amazing it only took one swipe of the good guys' 
swords to fell a slew of bad guys (who were bred for fighting and were clad 
in armor), but the bad guys had to shoot 6 arrows into 1 good guy before he 
became week enough to not be able to fight. And how'd that damn elf keep 
refilling his quiver? Everytime he reached in for an arrow, one was there... 
Don't get me wrong, though, I thought the movie was great  :-)

I suspect my opinion of Pearl Harbor will be much the same as yours.
