3ware Controllers vs SCSI Raid

Hi,

As NetLlama said, you can't compare a good SCSI system against any IDE
system. SCSI is better, period.

Anyway, although I don't have any experience with 3ware cards, I've
heard very good comments about them. They are the only *TRUE* IDE RAID
solution out there (except for ArcoIDE but they are only RAID1 and
Medea or something like that, but they are RAID0 tunned for viedo
editing).

So my advice would be: you can't afford a SCSI system, go with 3ware. 

Remember, I don't have first hand experience with 3ware (just what I
heard on the net).
