I have compiled in all the pci nic card modules including my 8139's, and this 
worked on 2.4.13, but something has changed in a selection as it does not 
work on 2.4.19, everything else is fine. Tried 2.3.31 with the same results, 
so its something I am missing.

I looked in /usr/src/linux/arch/i386 for a sample all in config. defconfig has 
minimal selections but how can I use config.in the format is different, but 
seems to have most com[piled in.
