In hot water (really hot air, but that's something else)

I found a cable blocking the airflow to the power supply.  I tied it
back, and I'm leaving the system on.  I'll be back for more ideas if
it still goes molasses on me.  I'll have skins on for this, because
if it's gonna fail, I want to know about it soonest, and I want it
to be in warranty.  If that happens, you'll hear more from me.
