Had to install binutils - that's all
Not a true Linux question, but I am running ./configure on SCO Open Server.
I am getting a compiler error and the config.log shows
configure:808: checking for gcc
configure:921: checking whether the C compiler (gcc -O ) works
configure:937: gcc -o conftest -O conftest.c 1>&5
gcc: installation problem, cannot exec `as': No such file or directory
configure: failed program was:
#line 932 "configure"
#include "confdefs.h"
I haven't seen this before so I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
Thanks,
?
