Nonsense. If you're using the official version there is so a configure
script, its just not called configure. You run make, and it spits out
your configuration options. After that you'll need to run 'make
linux-help', which spits out more options.
If this isn't what you did, then i have no clue whqat it is you're
building, but its not the official version of mpg123.
