What media are you using, though? I had really nasty noise, etc. on the
computer player and on various other audio systems (discmans, cars,
shelf systems, good stereo systems) until I switched to the actual
Digital Audio discs. I've never had to convert .wav to .cda first, I've
just copied wav directly onto digital audio discs.
