Ahhh... You must have had a run-in with Dorkslayers....
ORDB and SpamCop and several other BL's seem to run a fairly decent show.
I had to unblock a misconfigured GroupWise mail server and within 24 hours
mail was flowing again. Once I submitted the server for testing, they
unblocked it relatively quickly in their realtime system. They also
provide the last known spam to circulate through your server, requiring
the complaining party to provide it, as well as doing good tests. I don't
have a problem with a few... even if they DO send probes. If your server
is configured correctly, you will have no problem. It's not like they DOS
you. The send a couple probing emails spaced apart to help ensure that
you didn't just temporarily disable the relay.
