AFAIC, we're already there. Without going into great detail, we're 
replacing IBM RS/6000 boxen with Dell Poweredge servers running 
Informix, sendmail, apache, mailman, etc., on SuSE or Redhat. (sorry 
Caldera, you fsck'ed up so bad it isn't funny) The IBM machines running 
everything from AIX 4.1 to 5L, Netscape Fasttrack, Post.Office, 
Informix, etc., just can't compete in price, support, or maintenance. 
The only limitation now is the time, since we have over 90 remote sites 
to install and migrate.
