compile error for Xv

Actually David, all I had to do w/ version 3.10a was comment out three
lines in the xv.h file and put the full path to necessary lib files in
the makefile and all was well.  installed w/o error at that point.
You're quite right that it is still a great program (if a bit long in the
tooth ;-) )
