sendmail question

I was approached by an individual today who wanted to know if you implement the following on a sendmail box (linux). He wants to create a PG key for his ogranization, and then have sendmail sign every outgoing mail with that key. that way he can tell hist customers that if the key is valid, they can be sure the key came from one of their current employees and came from their system.
I *think* it can be done with some milter shuck-and-jive but thought I'd ask here....
