For the 3rd time....
COL2.4 will not install on that hardware. P4's didn't even exist when
COL2.4 was released, so how exactly do you expect its kernel to grok it?
Also, sounds like you might have a bad floppy, or possibly even the floppy
drive. And finally, you might even have a bad install CD.
