I would like you to make some addittions to your recent Xine SxS, if you do 
not mind.

I have no idea what version you run but, with the recent versions and 
especially .12 ( which has change dramatically) there are some significant 
differences.

It is not possible anymore to _upgrade_ xine, one has to delete all references 
to the 'old' install before installing the new version, not forgetting 
$HOME/.xine. Also wheras previously one selected DVD button in xine to play 
dvd's, this has changed to selection of the 'nav' button and also one need to 
have dvdnav installed. This is because dvdnav is updated on a regular basis 
as opposed to the old css lib, which seems not to be supported now.
I had problems with this over the past week or so and this was the answer.
