United Linux: why MandrakeSoft will not join

Wow!  How did Mandrake fit into that listing?  That's too much fun.  Which
distros are MDK-based?  Lycoris?  Ooops, nope.  They're based on COL. 
uhh...  Pizza-Linux?  Peanut?  Nope, wrong again.  Darn.
