Nah. The biggest problem I've run into so far has been with SuSE. It 
would only allow the creation of 4 md devices during install. (md0,1,2 & 
3) When I created more than that it would barf, so if /usr was on md5 it 
wouldn't boot. I got around this by booting from diskette, manually 
editing /etc/raidtab for the additional md devices then they would mount 
fine. So in this case less is more. Keep it simple like you have it.
(this problem didn't exist with *cough* Caldera 3.1.1 or Red Hat using 
the SGI boot images).
