Sharing Windows 98 files with Samba-lite under VMware 3.1.1 andRH 7.2

Is your Win98 box logged onto the network with the same user name that you
use on the linuxbox?  Did you add a Samba user using the same usernam and
password that you would use on the linuxbox and winbox?

All of these coicide.  I use webmins samba interface to add users
automatically when a linux user is add... or swats interface allows you to
create users as well.
