Newbie like question on KDE upgrade

Use ncftp with its  'wildcard character' pickup of files.   Such as   'get  
*.rpm'

Get Pam's  SxS on installing KDE.   It's a little old but I'm sure it still 
applies.   You can do it all with one command.
