Most mailers have some sort of address aliasing feature. Using
/etc/aliases
is *not* the way to do it, however -- that's for sendmail. Mutt, for
example,
allows you to do
alias linusers "Linux Users Mailing List" <linux-users at linux-sxs.org>
in $HOME/.muttrc. Then, when you compose a message, you type linusers in
the To: line. Mutt expands it appropriately before sending the message.

Then "people" aren't filtering on the correct field. I filter on Sender:
