Modprobe: can't find module

Scribbling feverishly on May 16, Bonez managed to emit:

Ah. This would be a Red Hat system, yes?

Look at the output of dmesg (dmesg | less). That will give you more clues
about what's going wrong. There should also be useful information in
/var/log/messages.
