Error when Printing Adobe docs....

Scribbling feverishly on May 02, James McDonald managed to emit:

I don't know if anyone ever answered this, so...

My stab at it would be to send the PDF file through pdf2ps:

$ pdf2ps mumble.pdf mumble.ps
