KDE from scratch (source)

Im attempting to install KDE3 from source.  I've installed virtually
everything except addons, since its suggested to do that last.  The problem
I'm having is with kdegraphics.  It will ./configure without error but when
I do a 'make' I get this:

I didn't have any problems installing kdelibs or any other packages.  This
is on COL 3.11, 2.4.18 kernel.  Any ideas what is missing that might be
causing this error?
