Thanks. In the interim I bought a Springboard module called a MemPlug
which lets me use SmartMedia (photodisc) up to 128M and with a addon
on called PiDirect I will seamlessly link with the internal memory so
apps can be written to and retrieved from it. So for about an additional
$70.00 USD, I have my memory issue solved and can run as many apps as I
can fit into (at present 32 MB) card.
