Hi All,

I am trying to run filemon for linux from http://www.sysinternals.com
I get the following problem... I understand there is a way of telling the
kernel to ignore the version or compiling it accept a version mismatch.

[root at amd james]# export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/root/kylix/bin
[root at amd james]# ./filemon
Warning: kernel-module version mismatch
fmonmod.o was compiled for kernel version 2.4.2-2
while this kernel is version 2.4.18-2002-04-25preempt
Segmentation fault

Can anyone tell me if I am correct or do I need to get an updated filemon?
(and sysinternals doesn't supply source only binaries).

PS. Thanks to Doug re the preempt kernel patch it helps heaps and I wasn't
brave enough to try it before I saw his posting.
