Mine looks like...

internet
     |
cable modem
     |
linux server
     |
switch box
     |    |    |    |    |
   pc1 pc2 pc3 pc4 pc5

The server now runs WS311 and does duty as a samba, NFS server and
firewall for my clients. Also provides a  caching name server...

The clients range from WS311, win98 win95 win2k and this weekend winxp.
I'm also negotiating a hookup for my neighbor for his two windows
clients... :')
