pre-emptable kernel patch

[Roger Oberholtzer]

Caldera 3.1.1 uses kernel 2.4.13-9. I see patches for 2.4.13-3 and 2.4.13-ac7-2.
Anyone tried one of these with Caldera's supplied kernel?
