It is packaged for RH and MDK.  If you have one of those, their installer
will install PostgreSQL 7.1.3, Tomcat4, and the OpenNMS packages and
dependencies.  Then, their docs will guide you through the setup.  

Note:  This really is a full-blown Network Management System.  It is good
for polling SNMP as well as TCP services, DNS, and DHCP.  It is definitely
worth a look.
