WS311 xterm problmes...

I've go a small "wrinkle" on Workstation 3.1.1 that has been pestering
me...

It has to do with not be able to execute xterm via startx. When startx is
executed, I get a gray screen and "X" and then nothing else.
/root/.xerrors contains this message:


AUDIT: Mon Apr 15 16:18:37 2002: 980 X: client 1 rejected from local host
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Unable to load authorization file

waiting for X server to begin accepting connections .

Xlib: Unable to load authorization file

Comparing this 3.1.1 setup to a working 3.1.0 setup... I don't see a bit
of difference, other than the fact that xterm will not startup via the
startx script.

Anyone have a tip?
