hey, gang!

i sent a note very similar to this one yesterday but i don't think it 
ever appeared -- unsurprising, i suppose; through some error on its 
part or mine suse installed postfix and uninstalled sendmail, so much 
if not all of my mail for the last couple of days has gotten put in 
limbo because postfix refused to believe i exist. anyway, if this 
showed up before, my apologies.

what i wanted to say is that i have a message board working now on 
linuxandmain, so anyone who wants to come and play is more than 
welcome. yeah, it requires registration -- as with mailing lists, it 
tends to keep things a *little* more polite -- but you can be assured 
(because it's true) that we're not going to sell the information to 
spammers or anybody.

comments welcome, of course.
