no video at boot-up

Quick question!  Are you sure there are not 3 beeps?  The beep error codes
for you motherboard say 1 long and 2 short beeps is video failure.  Meaning
the card is not seated correctly, or is faulty.  The following is a link to
all the beeps codes for the Award Bios.
