Wll Pam,
I have got many of the kde src files compiled and also turned out RPMS for
them too, using checkinstall.
I had to down load a snapshot for the 16th from Trolltech as there were no
qt-copy to download from kde.org. Anyway I compiled it without Makefile.cvs
as it complained that there was no such file/dir. All went fine and I
compiled kdesupport without probs then arts etc. Had a problem with
kdegraphics and kdemultimedia, think that I have to install sane first,
unsure with multimedia.
I was unable to untar kdepim and sdk as one said it was corrupt the other
that it was not a bz2 file. Will try another release of each, but not
important.
Now all I have to do is pickup courage to try it out. Anything that I have to
do before that ??
