iMAC and Linux

It should come with Mac OS X, which handles smb by default.  DHCP and other
non-MS network stuff work fine.

Is anyone using the new iMAC on a network with linux servers (dhcp,samba,
gateway)?

My wife's win98 box is dying, along with the monitor. This might be a nice
time to buy an apple. She will not use linux since it won't run AOL.
However, I would like to dump one more windows box in my house. (They all
seem to be dying natural deaths.)
