with regard to the subject line and not the content (which somehow got
changed to burning cd's) the answer is, that on your setup your cd-roms are
scsi devices and will be named EITHER
/dev/scd0 and 1
OR
/dev/sr0 and 1
OR
both
The 'trick' with music cd's is that they are not mounted, you simply play
from them 'as is' using any suitable program (if it's KDE then kcd is as good
as any other)
all, or most, of these music cd programs (such as kcd) will be looking for
/dev/cdrom. /dev/cdrom is known as a 'symbolic link', it points to a real
device because you and I would follow along quite nicely what a /dev/cdrom
might be, wheras /dev/sr0 is somewhat cryptic and could refere to cream
cheese. In your situation, because you have two cd's installed, /dev/cdrom is
meaningless because it will, according to murphy;s law, be pointing at the
platter that does not have a cd installed!
so, in your case, simply tweak the music cd program (kcd eg) to point to the
'real' device and voila.
