Seagates have had an excellent reputation (especially with the SCSI 
drives) in the past.  Lately i've started to see reports, and first hand 
evidence of lessor quality.  I still think that seagate is the best of 
the bunch, but their quality seems to be dropping, rather than te 
competitors improving.
