Hard Disk Suggestion

Hi Guys,

I recently recommended on a collegues suggestion, the purchase of an LVD
SCSI IBM Deskstor HD.  I have since been informed that there has been a
large number of failures of this line.  Would anyone on the group have a
comment on this?  I am wondering whether to have the drive returned for
credit and purchase another manufacturer, Seagate comes to mind.  It has
not been installed yet.
