'vi' is driving me crazy

All this can be summarized quite simply:

1. vi is somewhat strange to use until you are familiar with it, but
it's available on every platform.
2. vim is somewhat better than vi
3. If you don't like vi(m), try something else, and less whining about it.
4. There is no perfect editor.

I'm so used to vi(m), that I find myself entering yy, p, and :wq
sequences when using a gui editor.
