When I popped my mp3 player into this RHEL3 WS machine,
I just got:
hub.c: new USB device 00:1d.0-2, assigned address 2
usb.c: USB device 2 (vend/prod 0x4fc/0x757a) is not claimed by any
active driver
Just do a fdisk -l /dev/sda to see what is on it. You
should find a real partition on it.
For example, in my case, it's just
mount /dev/sda4 /mnt/mp3player/
